Beauty + Boudoir

We all know what beauty is, but what is boudoir? Boudoir is an adaptive word from the French to mean “woman’s private room, woman’s bedroom or sulking room.” For me, “Boudoir” is all about a space where a woman is free to be herself without judgement. I combine that idea with traditional beauty photography to capture gorgeous images of the female body in a space (not necessarily a bedroom) but anywhere that makes her feel her most comfortable self.

Couples

or lovebirds as my preferred term, has to be one of my favorite sessions to photograph. Not much is better than finding a best friend that you also want to live with forever. I love witnessing the silliness, sweetness and sometimes slightly steamy moments between a pair of lovebirds. Let’s capture some of these moments at your favorite place, or perhaps even where it all began!

NB+Baby

Is there anything more precious than holding your newborn baby for the first time? I know with mine, I didn’t want to set her down for a second. I love to capture those same sweet moments for others.

The second best baby moment has to be celebrating that first year! So much rapid growth, yo-yoing emotions of worry and awe. Days of nothing but cuddles and sleepless nights you thought would never end, suddenly are realized were all worth it. And they are DEFINITELY worth celebrating with a Cake Smash! Perhaps one of the most fun photo sessions I do.

04.

Maternity + Family

To be creating and hosting life, what is more powerful or divine than that? There are few things I enjoy more than showing mamas to be, or those blessed again, just how strong and stunning they are at this time.

Not so long as we think, these beautiful beings brought to life grow up before our eyes. A fun afternoon at the park, or all lounging on the house porch is a perfect way to preserve some of these too quickly passing years.
